During the duration of the program which is twelve months, you will be given study materials which you must complete before graduation. There are four semesters in the program with a duration of 3 months per semester.

The school of engineering offers programs like Frontend Engineering, Backend Engineering, Cloud Engineering, etc. Each program lasts for a period of twelve months.
2. School of Data
The School of Data offers programs like Data Engineering, Data Science and Data Analysis. It also lasts for twelve months.
3. School of Product
This school offers programs like Product Management, Product Design and Product Marketing and it lasts for one year.
4. School of Creative Economy
This school offers shorter programs/courses like ‘Content Mastery for African Creators’, ‘Navigating the Music Business in Africa’, etc. These courses usually take 3-6 weeks to complete.
5. School of Business
This school offers shorter programs (usually called courses) related to business like ‘High-Impact Selling: From Prospecting to Closing Clients’, Digital Marketing, etc. These courses last for 3-6 weeks.

How to Apply to Altschool Africa
To apply, you do not need any degree or school certificate. You also do not need Computer Science or any related background to apply, as you will be taught everything including the basics. However, there are some courses such as Cloud Engineering which are generally not beginner friendly and this is indicated on the website.
Here are the steps to apply at Altschool Africa:
STEP 1
You must first register on Altschool Africa website where you will be asked to pay an application fee of $20.
STEP 2
After successful payment of the application fee, you will be sent a confirmation email. In that email, you will get a home study kit which you would use to take the assessment test.
STEP 3
To take the assessment test, you will be tested on three areas namely, basic aptitude test, basic communication test and basic technical test. The home study kit given to you will help you prepare for this test.
STEP 4
If you pass the assessment test, you will be given a student ID and officially admitted.
How Much is the School Fees for Altschool Africa?
The school fees payment for has three plans so you can choose the one that suits you. They are:
1. Monthly Payment Plan
You can pay a monthly fee of $30. This means you pay $30 or the Naira equivalent every month.
2. Quarterly Payment Plan (every three months)
You can also pay the school fees at a quarterly fee of $80. This means you pay $80 or the Naira equivalent every 3 months.
3. One-Time Payment Plan
Here, you pay a one-time fee of $290 or the Naira equivalent that covers the complete program i.e covers the entire 12 months. This means you pay $290 for the entire program at once.
Does Altschool Africa Offer Scholarships?
Yes, Altschool offers scholarship opportunities to students. The scholarship opportunities are usually shared on their website and social media platforms.
